Pyrrosia drakeana

A smallish species given to me by Evan Sharp. I have seen it occasionally on the AGS show benches and I was very pleased to be given a piece.
The Flora of China says:

"Mixed forests on mountain slopes, on tree trunks, on rocks or rocky cliffs, on slopes, beside streams; 1000-3600 m. Gansu, Guangxi, Guizhou, Henan, Hubei, Shaanxi, Sichuan, Xizang, Yunnan [India]."

Hovenkamp says that the species can be confused with P. sheareri:

" P. drakeana is often confused with P. sheareri. It can be distinguished by the dimorphic indument, the larger, acicular rays of the hairs, and the sori that are immersed in the indument even when ripe. Moreover, P. drakeana usually has a relatively longer stipe and a relatively wider lamina."
