A cultivar that I bought from John Trott at Mendip Bonsai Studio. He got it originally from Shikoku Gardens in Japan. I struggled with it for a couple of years but it was never happy.
Every time I tried to improve conditions it seemed to object. In the end I was left with a pot containing nothing but hope and even that expired. Phoenix Perennials say: "Pyrrosia hastata 'Mikasa' sports long, trilobed, felted fronds with cinnamon undersides and sophisticated silvery surfaces." |
