A remarkable crested for of the species that I got from Siangreenculture. In fern terms this mutation would normally be called 'Cristata' but it was sold to me as 'Crestata'
and it is different (in a difficult to define way) from the plants distributed as 'Cristata', so I have retained the spelling from the source. It has grown vigorously in a large pot in the greenhouse. There are a number of named Japanese selections of the species, this seems most similar to one called 'Obake'. |
