A variegated clone very like (possibly the same as) 'Ogon Nishiki' that I got from SianGreenCulture. Hatch's Perennials suggest that it may be less undulate than 'Ogon Nishiki'. SisamGreenCulture say: "This handsome fern originated from Japan and have been cultivated here for 20 years. It bears upright, 8-12" fronds with yellow variegation and brownish underside. By nature of the plants, this specie is rather a slow grower. Does best in coarse, porous media and prefers lapse between watering. Best suit for basket culture." |
