A light green, almost golden leaved form, from Joe Sharman. I got it from Rosemary Castle at Alternatives. In her catalogue she says: "A fine yellow-leaved-to-lime-green form of creeping buttercup with the usual bright yellow flowers. Found by Joe Sharmon. True from seed." Hoecroft Plants said in their 1997 catalogue: "This new form of the creeping buttercup sport two-tone yellow-green and yellow leaves. Although not usually welcome in our gardens in its normal guise this variety will make a bright patch of ground cover where there is room for its overground runners to spread - stray ones may be removed. Usual flowers." |
