Rhododendron 'Shamrock'

An odd little plant with yellowish flowers tinged with green. The colour is better in the shade, if it is in the sun it loses its charm.
I planted it, the rabbits chewed the top off, it is growing back.

The International Rhododendron Register says:

"Lepidote rhododendron: R. keiskei (dwarf form) x R. hanceanum Nanum Group. Hybridised: R.L. Ticknor (1971). Fls 7-9/truss, tubular funnel-shaped, 23 x 30mm, with 5 flat-edged lobes, brilliant yellow-green (150C), with slight strong yellow-green (144C) spotting. Lvs elliptic. 20-40(-50) x 10-20(-25)mm, apiculate at apex, cuneate at base, moderate olive green (147A) above, with moderately spaced, tan scales below. Shrub 0.25 x 0.6m in 6 years. Mid March."
