The Rodgersia are magnificent perennials for cool moist conditions and somewhere along the way I have repeatedly
failed to try them in the garden. This year I determined to rectify the situation, and 'Chocolate Wing'
was the first I came across. The name relates to its rich brown emerging foliage but the pink flowers in summer made
a greater impression on me. I am sufficiently impressed to try as many more as I can conveniently lay my hands on.
