Rodgersia podophylla 'Crug Colossus'

A magnificent thing that I first saw at Crug Farm Plants last year and bought as soon as it became available (as has almost
everyone I have spoken to since). Very large growing with deep brown shiny new growth.
They collected it in the forests of Aomori in the north of Honshu in 2005 under the number BSWJ 10909.
Mine hardly deserves the term colossus but with luck it will get there in time.
