Rohdea jinshanensis

A species that has oscillated between Tupistra and Campylandra. It looks as though it will settle down as Rohdea jinshanensis. Confusion over the proper use of names is one thing, confusion over the identification of the plant is another. Tim Pelgrims has suggested that this plant is actually Rohdea wangiana (and he knows much better than me).

I got it originally from Cotswold Garden Flowers and the label reads:

"Exotic-looking narrow dark green leatherry leaves with a pale midstripe, few flowered spikes of relatively large pale orange flowers Jun-Jul, 30cm."
