Roscoea ganeshensis

I bought this from ... well, better to leave that bit out, and I paid ... well, once again, best not mentioned.
This is not R. ganeshensis it is the charming, but much weedier, R. cangshanensis I can't really blame anyone else, it was in flower when I bought it.

Jill Cowley says of R. ganeshensis:

"Roscoea ganeshensis is readily identified in the field by its very short internodes, finely hairy leaves and the strongly shouldered appearance of the crumpled labellum, which is held above and at right angles to the claw when the flower first opens. The hooded dorsal petal is also somewhat paler than the labellum. This tends to be emphasised by the presence of dark markings in the throat, but this character is, unfortunately, not constant, at least in cultivation. The bracts and the calyx are also hairy like the leaves... The type locality is, to date, the only one known."
