A light purple form grown from seed collected by Chris Chadwell.

Cotswold Garden Flowers say in their online catalogue:

"Terminal spike of large purple orchid-like flowers Jul-Sep, 15cm. Seed coll.Uttar Pradesh, forests, 1500-2800m. "
