Roscoea purpurea 'Purple Streaker'

I bought Roscoea purpurea 'Purple Streaker' during spring this year (2005), and it has not flowered
during the summer. It has not grown very tall, or produced a distinct pseudostem, simply a loose cluster
of leaves. There is some confusion about it's identity, whether it is a form of R.purpurea or R.humeana.
I am hoping that flowers will clarify the issue.
