Roscoea 'Snow Queen'

A recently raised cultivar that I bought from Hartside Nursery. Their label says:

"Almost white flowers on shortish stems in early summer. Raised by Gary Dunlop."

In their catalogue they say:

"A plant raised and named by Gary Dunlop. Many almost white flowers on shortish stems in early summer, probably a hybrid between R. humiana cross and R. cautleyoides."

In the greenhouse it has behaved more like R. humeana with large flowers early in the saeason, having a distinctive, broad dorsal petal .
