Roscoea tibetica Pale Pink

This pale pink flowered form of Roscoea tibetica turned up in a batch of typical R.tibetica imported from China by Fir Tree Farm Nurseries. It is attractive, and set copious seed by self pollination, so I hope for some interesting seedlings next year.
The flower has pale, almost white extremeties to the flower parts, with a slight darkening in the base of the tube. The plant should breed true if self pollinated.

Gary Dunlop says:

"The flower colour of plants in cultivation is normally either a rich purple or pale lavender-pink, though in the wild the colour range includes several shades of purple as well as blue, rose and white."
