Saxifraga fortunei 'Pink Mist'

A very small growing cultivar with pale pink flowers. I bought it from Aberconwy Nursery, who bred it, and their label says:

"New for autumn 2003. Small dark neat foliage with clouds of pale pink flowers on 8-10cm stems from Sept-Nov. For humus rich soil in part shade. One of our new series of very dwarf, early flowering forms bred by crossing the large pinks onto S. fortunei var. obtusocuneata."

Edrom Nurseries say:

"Bronzy foliage and red fleshy bristles compliment the interest of the pale pink flowers in autumn."

Farmyard Nurseries say:

"Introducing a truly captivating addition to our collection this year, this plant exudes allure. Its fleshy leaves intricately form dark rosettes, gracefully presenting sprays of pale pink flowers during late autumn. Flourishing best in a semi-shaded setting, it proves well worth cultivating, captivating onlookers with its unique charm. Generally, this hardy specimen weathers the seasons with ease, adding reliable beauty to the garden. Standing at a modest height and spread of 15cm (6 inches), its petite yet impactful presence makes it an ideal choice for those seeking a resilient and enchanting perennial for their outdoor spaces."
