Saxifraga 'Vincent van Gogh'

A creamy yellow flowered hybrid raised by R. Horny in 1965. I killed this one as well, but in this case I was helped by a little bird who yanked it out of the pot.

In the AGS online encyclopedia, under S. x borisii it says:

"'Vincent Van Gogh'; makes close, slightly raised hummocks of small rosettes. Leaves spathulate-linear with small, sharp points, dark glaucous green. Flowering stems 6-10cm high bearing six to eleven solid yellow flowers, petals 7-10mm long. Prefers a sunny position where it will flower profusely."
