Sansevieria trifasciata 'Forescate'

Sansevierias can last a very long time. I bought this in about 1978 from a florists shop. I have never seen it on sale since, although I think it is now available again. Its fortunes have waxed and waned, but it is still with me.

The Huntington Botanic Gardens say:

"S. 'Forescate' is particularly sought-after for its stately leaves of vivid yellow with green margins. Divisions of HBG 65341, a plant received from K.D. Morgenstern via Kew Botanical Gardens in 1989."

An online record from Laurence Hatch lists as an information source:

"Morgenstern, K.O. 1979. Sansevieria. Kempten, Germany"
