Sarracenia (flava x oreophila)

There is no natural overlap in the distribution of the two species, but there is a certain inevitability to the cross between the two largest green pitchered species. S.oreophila can introduce unexpected width to the pitcher and hood.
To date, I have yet to see a hybrid that is an improvement on a good form of S.flava, but the potential is there.
