A subtle coloured cultivar that I bought from Trecanna Nursery in 2005. Im not sure if this is the same thing as 'Blush' raised by Ed Skrocki
in the USA and registered in 1983 or if this is 'Blushes' raised by Sue Thomas in the UK and registered in 2008. Sempervivums by Post show a picture that doesn't look like my plant and say: "Sempervivum 'Blushes' is a new British variety (Sue Thomas, 2008). Gorgeous soft tones of grey-blue, edged with pink." Perennial Obsessions say about Ed Skrocki's 'Blush': "Dusty rose rosettes, mottled with green are covered by soft, fuzzy hairs. " Volkmar Schara, quoted on Sempervivum List, says of 'Blush': "A medium-sized crossbreed that quickly forms dense fresh green cushions. Very vigorous!" Pictures of both cultivars are available on Sempervivum List, I am still uncertain. |
