Sempervivum 'Braune Maus'

A 'comfortable' plant, the name suits it admirably. I was sent it from the Czech Republic but it was raised in Germany by Erwin Geiger and introduced in 2000.

In 2002 Horst Diehm described it as:

"very compact and vigorous".

Quoted on Sempervivum list, Erwin Geiger says:

"A separate seedling with densely ciliated rosettes, which are brownish to reddish-brown in spring. Forms extremely dense cushions in a short time, which appear almost resistant to footfall. A good ground cover!"
