Sempervivum 'Brownii'

I assume this is an old cultivar but I haven't yet located its origin. I bought it from Blackthorn Nursery. Their label says:

"Pink flowers, sun and poor soil, good drainage."

Mountain Crest Gardens say:

" A charming rosette succulent that thrives outdoors. This variety tends to show olive green and lilac tones with deep burgundy leaf tips. It produces lots of offsets and can develop into an impressive cluster."
