Sempervivum 'Devon Glow'

A richly coloured cultivar with slightly spathulate leaves that are held upright at the edge of the rosette. I got it from Trecanna Nursery, it was raised by Sue Thomas and registered in 1999.

Volkmar Schara is quoted on Sempervivum List saying:

" 'Devon Glow' is a medium-sized houseleek. The rosettes sprout willingly and form very dense cushions. The bright orange colors are especially beautiful in summer!"

Sempervivum Nursery say:

"Rosettes in red-gold glowing colors. In midsummer, the rosettes turn green and show only reddish-brown leaf tips. They are then hardly distinguishable from 'Ginger Nut'."
