Sempervivum 'Halls Hybrid'

A vigorous red-brown cultivar that made good clumps. Also known as 'Hall's' and 'Hall's Variety' it was raised by Ernest Hepworth in the UK and introduced in 1956. I got it from Trecanna Nursery.

Ernest Hepworth ran a succulent Nursery in Streatham, SW London from 1949. In 1959 he moved the nursery to Peacehaven, near Brighton and was known to specialise in Lithops. He introduced about 13 Sempervivum cultivars.
