Sempervivum 'Missouri Rose

I found it a rather fragile cultivar, much given to rotting but perhaps that was just my conditions (warm, grey, wet county). Very nearly lavender foliage but just falling short. Raised by Patty Drown in the USA and introduced in 1969.

Horst Diehm said:

"8 cm rosettes, muted red, light green inside, tips tinged with brown-purple"

Mountain Crest Gardens say:

" A pretty green rosette with deep purple tips and centers. This variety turns a lovely silvery pink and can show wavy "watermarks". Look to 'Missouri Rose' to hold strong colors late into the winter."
