A green rosetted hybrid, the outer leaves blush red in the sunshine. Raised by Ed Skrocki in the USA in 1980. Horst Diehm said: "medium-sized rosettes, fresh green, slightly light brown tips, ciliate". Mountain Crest Gardens say: "A large, lovely rosette with a lime green base and orange-red outer leaves. It has a nice fringe of cilia lining its leaves like lashes. 'More Honey' flushes burgundy in winter and in spring it produces colorful offsets on long, pink stolons." Sequim Rare Plants say: "Green at the base well flushed with orange-red shading, this plant grows large. Its orange-red color that is reminiscent of honey comes and goes, depending on the season." |
