Sempervivum 'Pink Janis'

A robust grower, it colours well in the sunshine. Raised by Andre Smits in Belgium and introduced in 1987.

Erwin Geiger is quoted on Sempervivum List:

"Velvety, medium-sized rosettes in striking colours ranging from olive pink to raspberry red. The pointed leaves are partly bent towards you."

Volkmar Schara is also quoted:

"The larger rosettes of 'Pink Janis' show a perfect shape. The whole plant makes a velvety impression. The red centre is particularly striking, which stands out very well from the cool basic colouring."
