Sempervivum 'Ronny'



Formed large greyish rosettes under glass but became a lot greener and more compact when grown outside. Raised by Gustaaf van der Steen in Belgium and introduced in 1977.

Quoted on Sempervivum List, Erwin Berger said:

"The Belgian hybrid from the 70s forms loose clumps with medium-sized, velvety rosettes in a light apple-green to orange-red colour."

And Volkmar Schara says:

"The medium-sized rosettes of Sempervivum 'Ronny' show an almost yellow coloration, with reddish tips. A great plant that stands out from the assortment, especially in summer. Only a few rosettes!"
