Sempervivum 'Snowberger'

The beautiful silver grey leaves of this cultivar are best during the summer or in the greenhouse. Unlike many cultivars, it becomes duller in colour in the winter. Raised by Sandy Macpherson in the USA in 1971.

Erwin Geiger is quoted on Sempervivum List:

"An American from the 70's with medium-sized, star-shaped rosettes in pastel jade green. In the evening, show a bluish tint!"

Volkmar Schara says:

"The plant shows a very cool green, which is strongly enlivened by the red leaf edges. Super! A medium-sized plant that is quite vigorous."
