Sempervivum 'Sunkist'

A seedling from 'Cleveland Morgan raised by Ed Skrocki and released in 1975. Large grey-green rosettes in the greenhouse, it didn't adapt well to life outside.

Horst Diehm said:

"velvety fresh green, tips brown"

Erwin Geiger is quoted on Sempervivum List:

"This velvety beauty is a descendant of 'Cleveland Morgan'. It was selected by Edward Skrocki from the USA as early as 1975."

Mountain Crest Gardens say:

"A sweet, fuzzy cultivar that forms adorable, rounded rosettes. It varies in color through the seasons from dark green to lime to a rosy red. It also produces lots of new offsets on short stolons, developing into a dense cluster."
