Sempervivum 'Tederheit'

A well marked cultivar that nI bought from a local nursery. Raised in 1978 by Gustaaf van der Steen in Belgium. A seedling from a cross between 'Wollcott's Variety' and 'Traci Sue'.
I wasn't wildly enthusiastic to begin with but it grew strongly, remained compact and was always strongly marked. In the end I appreciated it as a good thing.

Mountain Crest Gardens say:

"A stunning tawny gold rosette of medium size. Its leaves are tipped with burgundy tones that spread to the whole rosette in winter. 'Tederheid' produces masses of offsets on long, pink stolons, making it a great variety for trailing plantings like vertical arrangements, outdoor pots, and retaining walls."

I'm not sure that the plant they illustrate is the same as the plant I grow.
