A large growing cultivar that had some webbing on the leaves under cover but shed them in favour of nudity when grown outside.
A seedling from S. arachnoideum raised by Ed Skrocki in the USA and introduced in 1972. Horst Diehm said: "bright red in spring, changing to green in summer"brbr Mountain Crest Gardens say: "A small, webbed rosette of the S. arachnoideum type. The rosettes can get pink to red blushing on their outer leaves during sunny seasons. In spring, this variety produces masses of offsets that look great spilling between rocks. |
