A small cactus that I bought when a collection was auctioned. It came with something else growing in the pot as well, probably a Rebutia. Naturally the impostor had large orange/red flowers,
the Sulcorebutia did not join in. With similar inevitability in this group, the name doesn't seem to exist either. I wonder if it is a misprint for Sulcorebutia pasopayana,
in which case it is properly Weingartia canigueralii. I am uncertain. |
