A fun Dandelion that was sent to me by a friend in France who knew I like these oddities. Under good conditions it has
yellowish green leaves and for the rest of the time it is a Dandelion.
The plant's origins seem to have been lost, a nomenclatural standard is held in the herbarium at Wisley, collected on 15th May 2009 but the source and the collector
are not recorded. There are villages called Nettleton in both Lincolnshire and Wiltshire.
Bob Potterton ran a nursery for alpine plants and dwarf bulbs in Nettleton, Lincs and Martin Cragg-Barber ran a small nursery selling variations on native species in Wiltshire.
