Tillandsia harrisii

I obtained it originally as T. himnorum but this hs now been identified as T. harrisii.
A species with broad silvery leaves. I have only had it for a year or so, and can't tell you much about it. As it grows and establishes, it is getting whiter and more spectacular.

Air Plant Shop says:

"The Tillandsia harrisii is a striking species native to Guatemala, named after its discoverer, Bill Harris, who identified it in the early 1980s. "

Bromeliads in Australia say:

"Plant: in large groups, with to 80cm long stem, the back portion dies back and the front part promotes new roots, growing upwards, making a large, to 35cm wide ca. secund rosette.
Habitat Growing on rocks, near river Teculutan, at 500m, between La Piedra de San Antonio and Piedra del Galapago, El Zapato, Zacapa, Guatemala.
it is named after collector and exporter Bill Harris murdered in 1985 in Guatemala."
