A sturdy grower producing short flowering spikes. (I have only had it for a few months, so the best I can muster is a bland comment!) Unfortunately, this plant has demonstrated that it is not very cold tolerant. It may just have been a freak accident that killed it, but I think this one is not very hardy. The Flora of North America says: "Flowering spring--summer. Epiphytic in bright exposed habitats; 0--30 m; Fla.; Mexico; West Indies; Central America; South America. The leaf blade of Tillandsia paucifolia is often shorter than the leaf sheath." |
