Trachelospermum 'Chameleon'

Strange mottled leaves. It has been very slow growing, and only the new growth is speckled with white. I allowed it to get long and straggly in a pot before I finally planted it in the hedychium house.
A number of new variegated Tracheospermum have ben grown more widely recently. Most of them originated in Japan, this one is also distributed as 'Goshiki' and 'Goshiki Kazura'.

Promesse de Fleurs say:

"A lovely Japanese variety. It is a climbing plant of small habit, or a pretty ground cover, with tiny variegated evergreen leaves of green and grey. Its flowering in summer, with small primrose-yellow stars, is remarkably fragrant. Cultivate in partial shade, in well-drained soil, but not too dry. "
