Trollius x cultorum

Trollius x cultorum is the name given to a swarm of hybrids formed in cultivation between
T.europaeus, T.asiaticus< and T.chinensis. Many have been named and I
have grown a few but I have always wanted to try a pale one. 'Alabaster' is the most famous
of the near white cultivars, but it is very feeble in growth. I bought this seedling at a show
hoping it would be vigorous (too early to tell yet). I think it may well be 'Alabaster' that
has lost its name, but I am pleased to have it.
