Tricyrtis 'Moonlight Treasure'

A hybrid from T.ohsumiensis. Everybody else gets heads of large yellow flowers in late summer. I get more leaves. Bugger!

I bought it from Wildside and the label says:

"Large primrose yellow flowers in late summer. Best in moist shade, 30cms."

Plant Delights Nursery say:

"Tricyrtis 'Moonlight Treasure' is a new hybrid, created using the beautiful dwarf species Tricyrtis ohsumiensis and Tricyrtis nana. The result is a stunning new compact hybrid comprised of thick, beautifully blotched leaves forming a compact 10" tall x 10" wide clump. Starting in late summer, the clumps are topped with large, buttery-yellow flowers held just above the foliage. This is a breeding breakthrough that you are sure to love!"

A Terra Nova Nurseries plant protected by Plant Patent PP16,037 . Terra Nova's description says:

"A lovely broadleaf, low growing clumper with large soft yellow flowers up facing from the leaf axils. This plant has thick leaves which are not easily damaged like many Tricyrtis."
