An early flowering "kaufmanniana" tulip with pale flowers tipped with red. I have a small group planted
in the herbaceous border in the hope that they will come back next year. The origin of the cultivar is obscure but the description in the register says: "Exterior currant red, edged sulphur; inside white, base golden yellow. Leaves mottled." |
