A double pink tulip that I tried because I didn't know it. I was hoping that it might be a farly recent cultivar and modern breeding seems to be improving
the perennial behaviour of tulips in the garden. Unfortunately this one didn't last very long. The KAVB register says it was registered by J. A. Borst in 1982. The description reads: "Outside: ivory white from the bottom, changing into roseine purple flamed broad leaf edge 68A/C. Inside: flamed neyronrose 55A/C. Wide ivory white base. Buttercup." |
