It is good to try something new from time to time. Last year I planted up a pot of 'Washington'
for their amusement value. I was told it was fairly perennial (as tulips go) and perhaps next
year I will be able to confirm that. In the meantime, I am amused. Registered by J. Ligthart in 1981, the KAVB description says: "Exterior aureolin with variable short blood red flame; inside canary yellow with variable blood red flamed veins, base maize yellow, anthers greenish yellow." |
