Tupistra fimbriata

I was really pleased to find a small offshoot of this species for sale. I have no idea what it will do in the long term, but I have become very fond of the species of Tupistra
as I have got to know them. This one ranges from India and Nepal to China. The Flora of China currently recognises it as Campylandra fimbriata.

The illustration in the Flora of China of Campylandra fimbriata shows a plant with long bracts behind the individual flowers t
hat stick out of the densely packed spike, though it seems broadly similar in other respects so the identification remains uncertain.
