A pretty hybrid seedling found at Cotswold Garden Flowers and distributed for a while as New Var No.5,
it has now been named 'Bob Brown'. Cotswold Garden Flowers suggest that it is Tulbagia (violacea x cepacea). I got it from Desirable Plants and their label said: "Tulbaghia new var. 5. (?violacea x cernua) Purple-green flowers with yellow coronas in late spring. Ht 40cm. Evergreen and free-flowering. Sun, not too cold." |
