Typhonium trifoliatum

Very distinct trifoliate leaves, it grew rather long and straggling in the conservatory so I am going to try giving it a bit more light and a bit less warmth next year and see what happens. I got it from China, collected at 2000m altitude in Yunnan. This picture shows a flower that seems to be deformed. Alternatively, the plant may be misidentified.

Plants of the World online says:

"The native range of this species is Mongolia to N. China. It is a tuberous geophyte and grows primarily in the temperate biome."

In a post on Instagram on 20th September 2012, yichen8747 said "Typhonium trifoliatum. It has really stinky flower." Succinct.
