Yucca guatemalemnsis 'Variegata'

Still with me after all these years. Yucca guatemalensis is the common Yucca grown as a houseplant
and very occasionally this variegated form appears on the market. I bought mine when I was seventeen (I wasn't really one of the cool kids)
and have repeatedly cut the top off and cut the stem into sections so I have several.
. It isn't hardy outside but it does well in the conservatory.
In an age of micropropagation there are many other variegated clones being produced. In recent years there seem to
have been a lot more names than distinct plants but that is always the way.
