Deppea splendens

Discovered by Dennis Breedlove in Mexico in 1973, he collected some seed from which all cultivated plants are derived.
When he returned to the site in 1986 the area had been turned to farmland and there was no sign of the plants.
It is now believed to be extinct in the wild.
I was given a seedling and it survives but struggles in a cold greenhouse. I intend to move it to a greenhouse where
it will get much warmer in the summer where I hope it will grow more strongly.
