Hypoxis parvula var. albiflora
Archive entry 28.05.17

A strange South African variety, not for its foliage or behaviour but for being one of only two
white flowered plants in a genus where the other 90 (or so) are yellow. The typical variety of H.parvula
is also yellow.
Grows and behaves exactly like a Rhodohypoxis, which do white rather well, so the only significant difference
is that the reproductive parts are visible, unlike Rhodohypoxis which imitate Action Man (who has a slight bulge
but no underlying definition, for those who haven't peeked).
