I had a small collection of Lapageria forms when I moved to Cornwall, but they didn't
prosper in the chaos that reigned for a few years. It has taken me a while for things to
settle enough for another try. This typical red flowered plant is a first toe into the pool
of wonder that is Lapageria.
In the decades of my absence a number of new cultivars have been introduced from Chile to California
and they are slowly appearing in the UK. I have the desire, but not the money so for now
I will enjoy the red one and keep my eyes open for any other opportunities.
