Paeonia 'Moon of Nippon'

Paeonies dont really like my wet shady site, but I struggle on with a few to get an occasional perfect flower. 'Moon of Nippon' has been vigorous in a pot,
but I'm not convinced it will approve of my wet loam in the shade.
A seedling raised by Robert W. Auten in Illinois and registered in 1936. Raised from a cross between P. lactiflora 'Isani Gidui' and P. lactiflora 'Marie Lemoine'.
I lost it in a pot but am still looking for a replacement to grow in the new herbaceous border, a luxury I didn't have in 2007.
