Camellia 'Yuletide'

I bought this on sight a few years ago in a garden centre. Small red single flowers in time for Christmas.
It has grown slowly into a small shrub. It catches the wind, and occasionally the snow, and I haven't had a
solitary flower from it since it went in.

A chance seedling fron 'Hiryu' raised at Nuccio's Nurseries in Altadena, California, flowering first in 1959 and introduced in 1963.
